If you've even been driving down the road and drove through roadway construction, you likely have seen several Caterpillar machines. Caterpillar, often called CAT, is the industry leader in construction and commercial equipment. Generating an annual revenue of $64.8 billion dollars (2024), CAT is an industry leader in construction equipment. But while their largest market is in the commercial industry, they're also known for many other things. From large mining excavators, to garden equipment, to the boots on your feet, CAT has a large presence in almost any industry. But no matter how big the company or person, they had to start somewhere.
